The PhD program, which was opened within the Division of Science Education in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, accepts students for a master's degree with thesis. The program consists of at least seven courses, a seminar, a proficiency exam, a thesis proposal, and a thesis study, provided that they are not less than 21 credits in total. The duration of the doctoral program, which started teaching in the fall semester of 2021, is eight semesters and the maximum completion period is twelve semesters. A student who completes a doctoral dissertation study is entitled to receive a doctoral diploma if s/he succeeds in defending her/his dissertation in front of a jury.
