Master

Within the scope of the Department of Mathematics and Science, education has been provided in the master's program with thesis since the 2009-2010 academic year in the Science Education Department and the 2015-2016 academic year in the Mathematics Education Department.

        The Master's Program with thesis in both divisions consists of at least seven courses, including a mandatory course in Scientific Research and Publication Ethics, a seminar course, a specialized field course, and a dissertation study provided that the total is not less than 21 credits. A student is entitled to receive a master's degree with a thesis if s/he defends her/his research in the dissertation exam and is found successful by the dissertation jury. The completion period of the program is at least 4, maximum 6 semesters. Switching between master's programs with and without thesis is possible provided that you have fulfilled the application requirements of the relevant master's program.
